Baby Barred Owl
These baby barred owls, orphaned during last spring's storms, were cared for at the Alabama Wildlife Rehabilitation Center along with hundreds of other wild storm victims. Nestling owls must be fed every four hours, around the clock. After young owls learn to fly in their flight cage, they must learn to hunt mice before they are released in the wild.
